Wake Forest University

Every year, Wake Forest University calls for student art that was created throughout the academic year. Hundreds of pieces are submitted but only fraction of them are hand selected by a panel of distinguished art professors. This is also an opportunity for the university to acquire student art to add to their expansive John P. Anderson Collection of Student Art that is displayed all around the Winston-Salem, NC campus. I've had three total works shown in two of these exhibitions during my time at Wake Forest. One of them, Drama Queen (2022) was acquired by the university and is now on permanent display in the Office of the Provost. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to learn my craft and share it with my community. I would like to especially thank David Faber, professor of printmaking at Wake Forest University, for his mentorship and guidance.
